I have enjoyed the Vampeen Chronicles and am excited for book 5! Now you have given me another series to get excited about! I am already looking to see if I can pre-order it.

    • Amanda Schaff says:

      Dear Christin Lovell,
I can’t tell you have many times I have read and re-read both of the future alpha books. I guess you can say I’m obsessed. Both of the female roles (Aura and Sophie) are very relatable. I get completely wrapped up in these books every time I read them. Every girl in their life struggles with self esteem issues and what girl doesn’t dream about Mr. Sexy/alpha man sweeping her off of her feet? I’m a 25 year old women with a husband and I can’t get enough of these types of stories. So please keep them coming! I will continue to re-read these two books until you write some more and please do so…..quickly! Lol : )

      Sincerely,
      A fan!

  2. Katherine says:

OMG IS THIS THE BOOK YOU TOLD ME ABOUT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! It looks so cool when are you giving the description?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  3. Katherine says:

Thanks Christin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to read the blurb and then the book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😛 🙂

  4. Katherine says:

OOOOOOOOMMMMMMMGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just finished Bold & Beautiful at 2!!!! I couldn’t put it down!!!!!!!! IT WAS SO GOOOOOOOOD, TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again I wish I didn’t read it that quick because now I have to wait again for another one of your books to come out!!! Now that I’ve read the book I have three questions…
Are you going to write another book about them?!?!?!?!?!?
And if so would you more so write about Brody getting a mate or Aura and Jonas, and her transition into loving him even more?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
    Or both?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

    • christinlovell says:

I’m so glad you deemed it worth the wait. Thank you 🙂

Though Future Alphas is a series, it will feature a new future alpha in each book, essentially making them stand alone books with merely a common theme linking the series.
With that being said though, I never close a door. I thoroughly enjoyed writing Brody’s character. Just because he’s not a future alpha, doesn’t mean I wouldn’t consider writing him into a different book or series. I love the freedom of writing in that sense. It’s also why I’m not afraid to provide a ‘happy for now’ ending rather than a cut and closed ending.
The same with Aura and Jonas. I don’t have any plans to write more on them at the moment, but I’m not opposed to writing more on them in the future. If the spark is there, if I ever feel like they need more of their story shared, then I will certainly share it 🙂

      • Katherine says:

Thank you for giving me an answer!!!!!!!!!! I loved the book and as of now I have read the whole book twice and the part where Jonas turns and bites Aura three times!!!!!!!!! I thought it was so cute that he even as a wolf was fighting to not bite her till she said so!!!!!!!!!!! I fell in love with the story from the beginning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t know how the series could get any better but from reading your other books I know the next one is going to be better than the last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and book 5 of Vamp Chronicles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Elzona Curtis says:

I hope you write more about Aura and Jonas. Being a heavy set and multiple sclerosis women, I found hope in this book. I would like to know if they had a family later on. I do want them to finish school
(college) maybe. They might show up in someone else’s story. Hint hint. What was the reaction of the school kids at their highschool? I sooo want to know. Take care. Keep writing. Elzona

      • christinlovell says:

        Hi Elzona,
I’m so glad you enjoyed Bold & Beautiful and that you were able to make that connection with the characters. While I don’t plan to write a continuation of Jonas and Aura’s story, I do plan to write a beta series, which will feature the betas of my Future Alphas and Alpha Doms series. In the new series, you will get glimpses of our “old friends.” 🙂
        Take care!

  5. Brooke says:

Oh, my!! You are one amazingly talented young woman!!! Bold and Beautiful was just that, Bold and Beautiful 💗 I absolutely adore the characters and the way Jonas was taking care of Aura was beautiful! I read the book in one hour and kept re-reading for the rest of the night 😊 you definitely have a way with words and provided me with such an intriguing and heart tugging story!! Now I have two series to kept up with! Thank you for all of your work 📝. Your books always give me an escape! Can’t wait for book two 📖!! Much love and support, Christin!! 👩💘😃

      • Brooke says:

Your welcome! I am definitely going to try and get everyone to read your books, I’ve already got my cousin Nikki reading the Vamp Series 😄 You never fail to amaze me with your books and I want everyone to see what I do 💙 Have a great week!!

  6. Katherine says:

That is definitely an LOL moment!!!!!!!!!!!! You have ceased to disappoint me… Maybe leaving me wanting more but never disappointing me!!!!!!!!!! And at this point I don’t think there is any possible way you could. When I say reading your books is all I think about, I MEAN IT!!!!!!!!! I’m even planning on reading Bold and Beautiful again this weekend (to much school stuff going on this week to read it at or after school). Your books bring me to a place of happiness and joy. Sitting and reading one of your books is my way to release tension and relax. And as I said in an earlier comment, I am one of your readers for life!!!!!!!!!!!! So keep writing and giving me cool books to read!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait for book 5 of Vamp Chronicles and Curves and Courage to come out!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Katherine says:

UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW I REALLY REALLY WISH I WAS OLDER!!!!!!!!! Just read the description for Controlled Passion… It sounded amazing as usual!!!!!!!!!! And again I am left wishing that October would come sooner!!!!!!!!!!! Keep writing, I hope you can get the scheduled books out sooner but if you can’t I know it will still be worth the wait!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Katherine says:

    HI CHRISTIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know you said that you didn’t have a set date yet for Curves and Courage but I wanted to ask again???? I’m not trying to put pressure on you or anything i just really want to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please answer me back when you get a chance!!!!!!!!!!
    … And on another note…
When do you suppose that you will have picked the winner and two runners up for your contest?????? Again answer me back when you get a chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Katherine says:

I say HELLS YEAH to that notion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SO WANNA HERE MORE OF THERE STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can’t wait till the next Curves and Courage and Vamp Chronicles book 5 comes out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel like I’m getting tortured, having to waiting for them to come out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      THERE WORTH THE WAIT THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Katherine says:

    Hi Christin!!!
I know you’re busy writing for a deadline, but I’m dieing not being able to read any new stuff either in book form or off your cite… So are you going to be putting anything new up soon?????

  10. Katherine says:

    Also I had a question…
Would you or are you considering to have a plus size heroin for the Future Alpha series be a little sportier??? I would love to read a story about a competitive, plus size, sports girl!!!!!!! …Just a thought… 😉

  11. Katherine says:

    Hi Christin!!!!!
I know your busy with finalization’s on Darkness Falls but I had a quick question…
Is the blurb for it getting posted tomorrow or at another time. and if its at another time, does that mean that it went a little over schedule???
Also… Not trying to be a nudge or make you nervous but I’m really excited for Curves and Courage… When are you posting the blurb for it???
… I’ve noticed that you post blurbs the day of or the day before a book is released, but I’m just so anxious and excited I couldn’t help but ask… Sorry!… Answer m back if you get a chance… I’ll be rereading your other books in the meantime!!!!!!!!!!!

    • christinlovell says:

I do that because I’m a pantser. I go in with an idea, but allow the characters to take me where they want me to go. Because of that, I don’t release the blurbs until it’s nearly set in stone so I don’t set readers up for a totally different book.
The blurb will be posted soon… No e.t.a. though.

      • Katherine says:

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! I was dieing!!!!!!!!!!!! That makes a lot of sense though!!!!!!!!!!! This may sound bad but when I write I come up with a basic plot line but don’t make an actual outline of what is going to happen, I let the story take me where it wants to!!!!!!!!!! This also may sound bad but what does e.t.a. stand for??? I’m not the best with those kind of things…:P

  12. Katherine says:

Ya it is a complete waist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only problem I find is that when I write formal essay (usually in history), the facts get scrambled around in my head and in the end it sounds more like a story and less like a factual paper… I’ve been told I put to much “fluff” in them… Oh well I want to be a veterinarian, not a history major!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • christinlovell says:

In a round about way, potentially. I’ve thought about doing a beta series. I would take on the betas in the alpha books I’ve written thus far and give readers a sideways glimpse into old characters. 🙂

    • christinlovell says:

Sorry. I don’t have a specific date yet. I write according to which characters are loudest in my head. I’ve had quite a few a bit louder than the next cast of Future Alphas book 2. The book has been started, the storyline on its way. I just need to get the others done first so I can concentrate 🙂

  13. Melissa says:

I loved Book 1 of the Future Alphas series!!! After visiting your website & reading other comments I see there is a book 2 already in the making. So excited to read more. I am slightly sad that Book 2 won’t be a continuation of Aura’s and Jonas’ story. I would love to see how they deal with their developing relationship and high school drama!

  14. Emily says:

I loved the book bold and beautiful. You are a wonderful writter I trully enjoy your style of writting. I like how the main caricter is not of the social norm and has an inner strength. I was bullied a lot as a child for my short stacher and my health problems. I could totally relate to this girl. Aslo it is just that one person to stand up for you, stand beside you in tough situations that makes all the diffrence.

  15. Mary says:

I really love all your books. I’ve been checking your page daily for your next ‘Future alpha’ book. When will it comw out? I’m really excited.

  16. Beth says:

I loved book 1 it was amazing!!! But I felt ended too quick compared to the vamp chronicles. Just wondering if you’ll give us more insight to the next book? Like let us see them at school over a couple of days and not just one like with jonas and aura 🙂

    • christinlovell says:

I actually have planned a Future Beta series that will coincide with the Betas in the Future Alphas series. So, you will get little glimpses through that series, but unfortunately, I have so much on my plate at the moment, I’m not sure when I will get around to them. I’m still working on book 2, Curves & Courage, right now. I’m so glad you enjoyed them so much though! 🙂

  17. Katherine says:

Ugh, school and extra curricular activities are so time consuming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to relax and read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only have a few pages left of Reflections and it bugs me that I haven’t had the time to finish it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How is Curves amd Courage coming along?!?!?!?!?!?!?! 😛

  18. Beth says:

Hey christin! Would you ever consider making one of your future alpha girls slim and tiny? Like the opposite if the others to give people with all different body shapes a sense of romance?

    • christinlovell says:

I’m sorry. It keeps getting pushed back. Because of that, I don’t want to give a specific date. Once I finish the current title I’m working on, Curves & Courage will become my feature project, meaning it will get my undivided attention. Once I get closer to the finish line on it, I will set a solid release date for you all.

  19. Erica says:

I cant wait to read Brodys story. I know that you wrote that you were planning to write a beta series. I hope that its in the near future.

  20. Katherine says:

    Hi Christin!!!
I wanted to know how the writing was going for Curves and Courage?!?!?! Sorry to be a bit of a nudge, I’m just super excited!!!!! Answer me when you get a chance!!!!!!

    • christinlovell says:

I’ve worked on it sporadically. Once I finish the book I’m currently working on, then I will be switching focus entirely to Curves and Courage, which is about 1/4 of the way written at the moment…

  21. Ally says:

When is Curves and Courage coming? I’m really looking forward to having something to read at school, currently reading Diary of a Vampeen (again) I love your books! Keep writing ❤

    • christinlovell says:

      • Ally says:

Ok thanks, if I would have read all the other coments, I wouldn’t have asked when it was coming out 😉 just curious, why do all of your books have an over weight felmale as the star? If you don’t mind me asking?

      • christinlovell says:

Because, as a whole, there is a very limited pool of BBW heroines in romance novels, and plus size heroines are nearly non-existent in the young adult market especially. It’s an untapped market, which seems odd considering the average size of a woman in the US is a size 14, which is considered plus size. Based off that statistic, women could probably relate to an overweight female heroine easier than a thin, petite heroine with washboard abs. It’s not to say that I wouldn’t write about them. I feature a thin heroine in my adult book, Allure. I also have plans for one in the third Future Alphas book. But, for the most part, I will feature curvier women. If for nothing else, they say to write about what you know, and I happen to be a curvy woman 🙂

      • Aurora Martinez says:

I loved it so much that you write about BBW I am also curvy and haven’t found romance or paranormal romance novels that have a BBW as a heroine i am so glad and very very very happy that you do thank you so much!!!!!!!!!! Please don’t stop writing about BBW heroine pease!

No. Curves & Courage is about a new YA couple. I have plans down the road for a Future Betas series. All of the betas featured in the Future Alphas series will be featured in the new series, so you will get a catch up on the characters that way 🙂

  24. Kristen says:

I just read Bold and Beautiful, and it was absolutely amazing. It’s not the first book I’ve read of yours, but I loved how incredibly amazing the characters are. Aura and Jonas make an amazing couple. I could see more to come in their future. I believe you are an incredible author. I’ve read the Vamp Chronicles as well and I await the next book about Alexa and Kellan’s future as well. Can’t wait! 😀

  25. Jen says:

I loved Bold and Beautiful. I agree with the others – love the idea of their story continuing. I cannot wait for the next one. I think you have a wonderful style of writing. Hope to read more from you

  26. Lily says:

I read the first Bold and Beautiful, BTW, anyone who hasn’t read it needs to because it is amazing! I can’t wait for Curves and Courage to come out. When will you be able to post the description?

  27. Angie. says:

    Hey Christin!
I just finished Curves and Courage. I have to say it was such a great book! I can’t even express just how attached I became with Sophie.. your book gave me hope and it left me grinning like a mad woman at the end. I can only hope that they can get a book later down the line just so I can see how they’re doing. You’re an amazing writer and I will forever be a grateful and loyal fan! Thank you so much for all your hard work!
    ~Angie.

  28. Nakeema says:

Hey!! So of course like always you never disappoint with the books and Curves & Courage had me on my toes I love it I could not take my eyes away from the book at all and I had homework to do but, it was worth the wait and OMG! I fell in love with Dominick he is so charming and funny and Sophie oh WOW! Her life suck I wanted to jump through the book reading what her father did to her I felt like I need to protect And I had to realize it’s a book and there is nothing I could do about it. I agree with Angie if you could hopefully tell us what happens between them two and what happens between Aura and Jonas but if you can’t I understand I just feel like I know them so well and cannot bear not knowing what becomes of their unions. Basically I love it you’re one of my favorite authors and with me that is saying a lot because I can be a tough Critic but I never find one flaw in any of your stories and I just can’t put them down so get up the GREAT! Work you’re doing amazing and Get Well Soon!

  29. rayna says:

I total love the vamp chronicles I can not wait till to breaking dawn and Mel’s story. When will they come out please tell me!!!!!!!!!!

  30. rayna says:

you are my favorite author !!!!!! please tell me when the next vamp chronicles are coming out . I am sad that kai had to die for Kellen to see what he was doing to Lexi. I love the name for the baby !!!!!! I want to know what Mel has to say about what is going on !!!!

  31. Katherine says:

I feel like the only thing I do is ask you questions! LOL!!!
… I was wondering how you pictured your werewolves to look like? I have figured out that they actually are wolves (not some hybrid thing) but do you picture them in the Twilight sense or the True Blood sense (do you think of them as tall as a human but obviously very much larger or a real wolf kind of physic?)? Answer me when you get a chance!!!! Hope your trip is going well!!!!!!!

  32. Chris Roberts says:

Love the Future Alpha series. I am hoping to see more added to this series and the Future Betas series to be started. Thank you for your stories.

  33. Heaven Andersen says:

Patiently waiting for more books by you because you’re my favorite author!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  34. Emmy says:

Are you planning on writing more? It’s so nice to see plus size women get the hot men! I’m plus size, could you bring me one of your wolves? Hahaha!

    • christinlovell says:

They should automatically update if you refresh you sync or refresh your e-book device. If not, you can contact customer service for your e-book provider and they should be able to update your copy with the new cover for you 🙂

  35. Tre-Nya Brightly says:

    Christin-
I have a kindle fire hd and my moms credit card it hooked up to it so i bought all the vamp chronicle books and this series haven’t got in trouble yet but if i do your books will be worth it !!!!!! keep writing your #1 fan
    -Tre-Nya

    • christinlovell says:

Fingers crossed she won’t be too upset if/when she does! My one rule has always been that, regardless of where I am financially, I will never deny my children a book. Keep reading! 🙂

    • christinlovell says:

I’ve written the opening of the book, but other characters have demanded my attention since. My best guess (no guarantees) would be late summer. I’ll make an announcement when the time comes for sure 🙂

  36. Ashley says:

I just have to tell you that I absolutely ADORE these books. I stumbled across some of your work around Christmas time (2013) and was happy with them. I then of course had to check out everything else I could and well, although I love all of your books, these ones in particular have a special place in my heart. I love the way they are written, the characters are amazing and the stories are just so much fun to revisit. My only problem is that they feel ssooooooo sort 😦 But I can easily get over that because you’re amazing as are your works of art. I’m crossing my fingers that you have some more plans for this series in the future.

  37. Emily says:

Um… Did you take the Vampeen Chronicles off of Amazon and the other websites? I really hope that it just a mistake and your novels will be put back on to buy! Please, don’t listen to the bad comments about your book! I understand that you might be taking awhile writing the last book, but please do not take your books off Amazon and other sites! Don’t let some nay-sayers destroy the series for the rest of the fans!!!!! I love your books!

  38. MaLissa D. says:

I readily admit that I’m not usually a big reader of YA books (since my ‘young adult’ years are long in the past *lol*)….I ‘stumbled’ upon Bold and Beautiful – Future Alphas by chance…I just had to drop you a note to let you know I thoroughly enjoyed it, didn’t want it to end…I wanted to continue through their lives, ‘watching’ them grow .Thank You for a great read 🙂

  39. Chacha says:

Love your young adult books about future alphas….Enjoy them very much can’t wait to read future stories!!
